![]() ![]() By glitching under the main map Guarma will load up. Since the way Rockstar did the game map, Guarma is in the same physical instance as the main world, just situated under it. We say "into" because this low-poly mesh has no collision detection and you'll just row through it finding yourself below the map texture. You need to row around this and proceed into the shore. Eventually, your surroundings will degrade in terms of graphical quality and prop density, and you'll reach a plain, grassy lick of land. You then need to keep rowing northeast while hugging the eastern bank of the river till you go beyond the bounds of the map. What you need to do is go to the Lannahechee River on the east bank, right across from Annesburg. It requires a lot of rowing with a canoe, much of which is done under the map. ![]() You'll need to be extremely patient to complete this glitch, however. ![]()

![]() You can see how many of each prize is left in the circle surrounding the image of the prize. Green circle prizes are the most common type of reward and can be won by four spinners. Silver circle prizes are other valuable items that can be won by two spinners. Golden circle prizes are the most special prizes and can be won by one lucky spinner. Spinning or refreshing the wheel will still result in getting a prize on the new wheel. Any player can also refresh and spin the wheel at a cost of one Doubloon to call up a whole new set of prizes for the neighborhood. Each spin of the wheel costs one Doubloon and results in one prize (see Wheel Prizes) and one compass to complete the Map. ![]() In order to spin the wheel, the player first needs to earn Doubloons. The player will now see the Summer Event window (pictured above), containing the Wheel of Fortune, the Map, a neighborhood actions log, and some buttons to spin or refresh the wheel. In SMAC the relationships with some of the AI leaders also tend towards more or less perpetual war which, with the high number of cities, I find frustrating since striking down or conquering a chronically belligerent neighbour requires capturing (or razing) a ridiculous number of individually insignificant cities. Since owning lots of cities essentially comes at relatively little cost in the older Civ games, towards the end the AI will have spammed cities in just about every nook and cranny. The main reason is the massive reduction in the number of cities and units in Civ V due to their high maintenance costs, and making individual cities matter more. I think Civ V in particular reduced micromanagement in certain respects to a degree where I now often find SMAC becoming tedious towards the end game. I think I might finally break out of my cycle with this one. I keep an old ipad on life support just to play it.īut yeah, the mainline Civ games have been (for me) a chance to pay $60 every few years, get excited, and be disappointed. ![]() It only runs on iOS 8 and below, and has been replaced in the store by Version 2 With Microtransactions and Pay To Win. ![]() Sadly because it's in the apple ecosystem you can't get it anymore. It stripped out manual terrain improvement entirely and left a really fun game behind. The other surprising exception is Civilization Revolution 1 for the iPad. Over the years I've probably played that even more than the original. The big exception is Alpha Centauri, which is essentially a Civ 2 remake with good automation of the boring stuff. None of them capture the original, but rather just add more and different crap to micromanage. Since then I've bought every new Civ as it came out and maybe played through two or three games before abandoning it. ![]() I bought the original when it came out and, together with Master of Orion, it ate so much of my life that it added a year to my time at university. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The word paratha is derived from Sanskrit (S. ![]() ![]() Alternative spellings and names include parantha, parauntha, prontha, parontay, paronthi ( Punjabi), porota (in Bengali), paratha (in Odia, Urdu, Hindi), porotta (in Malayalam, Tamil), palata ( pronounced in Myanmar), porotha (in Assamese), forota (in Sylheti), farata (in Mauritius and the Maldives), prata (in Southeast Asia), paratha, buss-up shut, oil roti (in the Anglophone Caribbean) and Roti Canai in Malaysia. Paratha is an amalgamation of the words parat and atta, which literally means layers of cooked dough. Goa Taco, a madcap Indian-Mexican mashup with locations in New York and Santa Barbara, California, takes the idea one step further, using paratha as a base for tacos filled with paneer, chile-braised lamb shoulder or chorizo.Paratha ( pronounced ) is a flatbread native to South Asia, prevalent throughout the modern-day nations of India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Maldives, Afghanistan, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Mauritius, Fiji, Guyana, Suriname, and Trinidad and Tobago where wheat is the traditional staple. Paratha also becomes a wrap for kati rolls, burrito-like snacks filled with spiced meat or vegetables and sausages, best eaten on the street while hot from the grill. At Kababish, a North Indian kebab shack in the Bangladeshi corridor of Jackson Heights, Queens, you can get a personal-pizza-sized keema paratha stuffed with spiced ground chicken. With its laminated texture and richer flavor, paratha is more of a standalone food than roti, and is sometimes even stuffed with spiced mashed potato (aloo paratha) or other fillings. A great one should flake and crackle like a well-baked croissant, and the layers should be thin, delicate and not too greasy. Paratha is made from roti dough that’s pounded especially thin, painted with oil or ghee and then folded or rolled into flaky layers. If roti is India’s daily bread, paratha is its special treat. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Lastly, in terms of multi-platform games, it was Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War that amassed the most support in this particular survey, with 45% of the respondents looking forward to playing the game on either of the next-gen consoles. For the Xbox Series consoles, it was Halo Infinite (45%), Fable (26%), and Forza Motorsport 8 (24%) pushing pre-orders, although it seems those considering an Xbox Series X/S purchase were actually more interested in subscription services such as Game Pass rather than the temptation of exclusive titles. Mainly driving PS5 pre-orders was the thought of playing exciting exclusives, with Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales (52%), God of War: Ragnarok (42%), and Final Fantasy XVI (32%) topping the choices. For this, the PS5 with Blu-ray was once again the most popular choice at 58%, with the Xbox Series X on 40%, PS5 Digital Edition on 21%, and Xbox Series S on 11%. Tellingly, 29% of the 511 people involved said they had tried to make a pre-order but had failed to accomplish the task. ![]() Judging by the percentages, it seems some of those in the fortunate 15% that had pre-ordered a next-gen console actually made multiple pre-orders. The Xbox Series X was selected by 30% of those surveyed, with the PS5 Digital Edition grabbing 10%, and the Xbox Series S scooping 8%. However, this 72% came from a total of only 15% that had made a successful pre-order. Unsurprisingly, the disc edition of the PlayStation 5 was the number one choice for those that had managed to make a console pre-order, with 72% of this fortunate portion of respondents plumping for Sony’s disc-based console. The survey involved just 511 people who are based in the US, so it’s quite a small sample, but it can provide a snapshot of general trends. ![]() A next-gen console pre-order survey report by VGM, via, has offered some interesting details about what is driving pre-orders and what hardware/software is proving to be most popular. ![]() ![]() ![]() From a single reference edit, the mapping feature ensures that the parameters scale properly to the rest of the series. ![]() This feature was developed because copying and pasting a history stack over a series of images, even when shot in the same conditions, does not necessarily ensure uniform color rendition, and often still requires additional manual adjustment, since lighting may still vary slightly from image to image. The target can also be manually defined by direct input of the appropriate CIE Lab 1976 color coordinates. The “correction” mode then mode computes the relevant exposure and color calibration settings so as to match the color selected from a matching sample picked from the target image. A “sampling” mode allows you to pick a reference color in a source image, recording the output exposure/color after the current exposure and color calibration modules respectively. This mode can be used, for example, to perform white balance (chromatic adaptation) against non-grey objects of known color, or to ensure color and exposure consistency of an object across a series of images. Color and Exposure MappingĪ new “spot mapping” mode has been added to both the exposure and color calibration modules. ![]() Ukrainian and Polish translations are currently available and we expect to add more over the coming months.
